Jenaye Johnson

Jenaye Johnson is a multimodal journalist and fiction writer who’s based on the East Coast. She’s beat agnostic but currently covers culture, the environment, energy and tech. Through the lens of data, she follows her stories everywhere: from clean energy highs and lows, to heat pump retrofit programs in Philadelphia, to new flow batteries that could reshape the country’s grid. Jenaye went to the University of Pennsylvania for a degree in neuroscience and is currently a graduate student at New York University’s Science, Health and Environmental Reporting Program (SHERP).
