Sarah Hopkins is a master’s candidate in Science Writing at MIT, where she has written about environmental justice communities and intersections between climate change and the law. Prior to MIT, she worked as a writer, editor and communicator for legal organizations, including the ACLU, where she translated complex legal concepts to non-expert audiences and to the media. At ICN, Sarah plans to continue reporting on climate change as an environmental justice issue—because it will not affect us all equally.
